Graduate of the University of Houston in business marketing, Adrian got the hospitality bug early in his career. As a Houston hospitality industry veteran with 28 plus years’ experience, he has worked with some of the most respected restaurateurs in the city. Experienced and knowledgeable as the wine buyer for 1751, Adrian enjoys finding unique wine varietals and wineries from around the world at a price point that makes it easy for everyone to enjoy their favorite bottle. After attending Culinary Institute of America, Young was in Denver at steakhouse Guard & Grace before heading to San Francisco to work at the acclaimed one-star Michael Mina. He then headed to Chicago where he was at Michelin three-star restaurant, Alinea. Young has been in Houston since 2019 where he has spent time at both Guard & Grace and most recently at Sixty Vines. Young brings more than 7 years of experience at Michelin star and fine dining restaurants.
